Not the best facility in. First room didn't even have a lock on the bathroom door, even had a hole in the door. No micro wave or refrig either. Did get another room.
The shuttle driver was very helpful about New Orleans. Though the hotel is quite aways from New Orleans the surroundings stores and restuarants are convenient.
The shuttle should have more pick-up and drop-off times into New Orleans.
Location/easy access to interstate.
Carpet did not smell fresh, had a musty odor
We were picked up by your shuttle from the airport. The girl that drove us was very nice and did a good job. We shuttled back to the airport the next day. The girl that drove us the next day was super nice and very helpful with our questions. Thanks a lot!
The smell in our room was a strong room freshener smell. It was so overwhelming that it kind of made us feel sick. Each time we would go out and return to the room we could smell that smell so strong. We both thought we would have a headache from it after we checked out. It was a really strong odor.
After a grueling 3 day trip to Mobile, I was very tired ...needed to find a place to stay til my flight the next morning . When I got to Sleep Inn my credit card was denied I had been out of town for three days and Chase had put a hold on the account to protect me from fraud... The lady at the front desk was soo kind and gracious and allowed me to go on to the room . The room was clean , modern and peaceful . The nextoenobgy card was straightened and the hotel shuttle arrived early to take ms to the airport it was a wonderful experience
Nothing ! it was great !!
Very disappointed with shuttle service. I chose hotel for airport shuttle service and called to confirm pick up at midnight. No shuttle showed and had to take taxi. Left message for manager to call me, but no response.
The staff is welcoming and hospitable. Very helpful and friendly. The mattresses are comfortable. The cook prepares omelets for guests as part of the free morning breakfast three days a week. Free internet. Free hbo.
Our double room was small, with only a shower, no tub. The parking isn't too convenient, but is free and well-lighted. The location is best for guests who know how to get around New Orleans, but if it's the first visit to New Orleans, it can be tricky to enter and exit the hotel and avoid traffic jams on the nearby interstate. The interstate borders one side, with a fast food place, the jail and police station on the other side. No pool, spa or fitness center, and the business center is one computer and a printer in the breakfast area.
Larry, the shuttle bus driver and (apparently) general factotum at Sleep Inn, made us feel very welcome and looked-after. He answered all our questions and directed us to Kenner Seafood for an excellent meal. He is a major asset to the Inn: Don't let him get away!
Breakfast offered lots of choices, but not enough space is provided when the Inn is full - as it was when my wife and I were there. It was very difficult to find an empty chair and there's not much separation between the prep & serving area and the tables, so that the space is not very relaxing. Also, the machine had run out of coffee. I'd urge the Inn to provide a better map for first-time visitors: It was very hard to find the Inn from the map provided on the booking confirmation and we spent quite a lot of time searching. Also, when we phoned, we received inaccurate (or at least very confused) directions.
Closeness to the airport. Breakfast
The two times our smoke detector went off and no one responded to our call. The first time was when we turned on the heat for the first time and the second time was when it needed a new battery. My daughter ended up getting on a chair and removing the battery so the noise would stop. No one came when we asked for assistance. Not acceptable.
Airport shuttle service is very convenient and free of charge.
There is no plug convertor for intercontinental travelers.
Close to airport.
Dorty wash cloth and used bar of soap left in my room. Hotel is feet from interstate and noise is bad.
Couldn't sleep it was right by the interstate. The air didn't work right we were hot
We flew in and the shuttle from the airport was free. The room was very nice and provided breakfast was delicious. Also one of the staff had recommended the restaurant, Michelle's, across the street and it was excellent.
Everything was great and for the price, best hotel I have found yet at any airport.
The staff was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgable, helpful & personable. I liked the closeness to the airport nut the parking area was a little scary at night.
